2002-to pres            
Senior Officer, Eurasia Programme, International Alert, London
In addition to the duties of  the Eurasia Programme Officer described below, the main duties include organising workshops with participation of parties to the conflict; working with civil society actors, women and young professionals in various process-related skills (communication, negotiation, project proposal writing, project development, review, evaluation, budgeting, fundraising, networking, non-profit management, and facilitation). Working for civil society development in the North Caucasus as well as regions of the South Caucasus, in particular regions of Abkhazia, has been on the forefront of my activities, as well as strategising on and participation in fundraising for ongoing and future interventions.

2001-2002           
Officer, Eurasia Programme, International Alert, London. Main focus of my responsibilities has been on the Confidence Building between the Georgian and Abkhaz Societies (budget over three year £1.5) within which work with women, young journalist, writers, disabled people and former combatants from Georgia and Abkhazia as well as other regions of the South and the North Caucasus is conducted. Fact-finding mission to Gali region of Abkhazia, as well as to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Nagorny Krabakh conducted with the aim of project development. I am responsible for financial and narrative reporting on the project, liasing with local and international, partners as well as donor organisations and local government contacts, facilitating the process of this project.

2001 (Fall)           
Consultant, Eurasia Programme, International Alert, London.  Main responsibilities included participation in shaping the strategy for the Caucasus Women’s League as well as institutional building and partnership changes for the main partners in the Georgia-Abkhazia Confidence Building Project.

1999-2001
South Caucasus Foreign Correspondent, DNES daily and RESPEKT weekly; covering political, economic, general news of the South Caucasus republics and conflict regions including Nagorny Karabakh; feature and analytical coverage of the region for the national Czech daily and the national analytical weekly. This work also included fact-finding for Czech based NGOs in the conflict regions.

1996-on           
Literary translator; TORST Publishers, Dauphin Publishers, ERM Publishers, translating of French and English fiction and poetry into the Czech Language and edition preparation of the publications; translated works included:
